Most of our pupils are very visual learners and to focus in on just the sound was quite difficult but reviewing the video footage, this was a skill that did develop as the sessions built up.
SKOOG FEEDBACK
Date: 23/02/2011
Name / School:
Sanderson's Wynd Primary School, The Hub
Please describe the range of abilities and ages that have used the Skoog:
Junior class - 7 - 10 years - all with severe and complex additional support needs. Some pupils with very limited functional movement.
Have you and your class enjoyed the Skoog? What was their / your favourite feature?
Each pupil had a different motivator: eg. - animal sounds, soundtrack, feedback from the adult
Making the connection between touching / moving the Skoog and producing a sound.
Have the pupils found the Skoog easy to access?
Some more so than others. Some preferred to move / rock the Skoog, others patted and others were able to put some pressure onto the coloured buttons.
Additional comments / suggestions:

It was great to have Joy's input to develop the use of Skoog over a number of sessions and to train staff. Thank you.
