We are delighted to have the Skoog at The Royal Blind School. We knew it would be an exciting tool to enable our pupils to develop independence by assisting them to experiment and play music with minimal support. However, we had not realised that the Skoog would also play a part in helping our young people to complete sections of national award schemes.

The project was based on research around the use of the Skoog as a new piece of music technology. The Skoog sessions became an integral part of the Good Vibrations project and event. Over five weeks prior to the event, service users participated in taster sessions to gage the accessibility of this new instrument. Sense Scotland has now purchased two of these.
