Quick Start Guide

Opening the Software

To start the software, simply double click on the Skoog icon in your Applications folder (Mac)/Desktop (Windows), or click on the software icon in your programs menu.

The software consists of two separate windows:

1. Skoogmusic Window (top of the screen)

The Speaker icon in this window controls the overall sound output of the software. Simply click the speaker icon with the mouse to turn sound on/off.

Audio Off Grey: the sound for Skoog is off. Audio On Green: the sound for Skoog is on.

2. Skoog Window
The front panel of the main software window has the following main features:

  1. Visual feedback indicators
  2. Sensitivity controls
  3. Skoog Window controls
  4. Audio controls
  5. MIDI Activity indicator
  6. Skill Presets
  7. Navigation Tabs
    1. Skoog Tab
    2. Notes Tab
    3. Settings Tab
    4. Instruments Tab
    5. Samples Tab
    6. MIDI Tab
