THE ZOOM CONTROLS
Using the zoom controls near the top left corner of the Skoog window, you can resize the window to fit your screen. The various controls are:

Fit to Screen - This resizes the Skoog Window to fit your screen.
Bigger - This increases the size of the Skoog Window
Smaller - This decreases the size of the Skoog Window

SKOOG AUDIO CONTROLS

Audio Volume
Drag the fader up/down to increase/decrease the volume of your Skoog. You will notice that this volume bar lights up as you play the Skoog. If it starts showing red, it means you have your volume too loud for the computer to handle, and may result in distorted or crackly sound!
Audio Balance
This controls the panning of your Skoog:
  • LEFT: Skoog sounds like it's coming from the left (Your Skoog's voice will only come out of your left speaker)
  • STEREO: Skoog sounds like it's coming from the middle (Your Skoog's voice will only come out of both of your speakers)
  • RIGHT: Skoog sounds like it's coming from the right (Your Skoog's voice will only come out of your right speaker)
Its main purpose is to assign a loudspeaker per Skoog (in duet mode) to give separation of the sound sources.
Mute
'Mute' simply turns off the sound of you Skoog. Make sure you have this option unchecked if you WANT to hear your Skoog!

SKILL MODES
There are three preset skill modes that you can choose from in the Skoogmuisc software: Novice, Amateur, and Expert - with the more 'advanced' modes providing a wider range of expressivity.

The Custom Mode option temporarily remembers any customisations you have made to the skill settings (until you quit the software). This includes the dynamic instrument feature - accessible via that Settings tab.
