Discover the Skoog at BETT 2013
Skoog is making an impact across the curriculum
Since its launch at BETT 2010, the musical instrument created specifically for special education has rapidly become a key resource not just in inclusive music provision, but across the curriculum.
Our focus is on accessibility, so whether you have disabilities or not, are a parent or a teacher, a musician or non-musician, work in SEN or mainstream education, are a music therapist, a SENCO or are simply into inclusive tech, come and meet the Skoog at Stand B129 in the SEN zone.
Why choose Skoog?
Music for Everyone
This year the Skoog made the transition from the classroom to the stage, with a Skoog soloist with Cerebral Palsy featuring alongside a mainstream orchestra as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad (Technophonia).
But it’s not just in instrumental music teaching that the Skoog is having an impact. The Skoog allows users to record any sound, including their own voice, opening up the opportunity for use in developing literacy, numeracy, and in speech and language therapy.
The user community continues to grow and the team at Skoogmusic have lots to shout about at BETT 2013:
- NEW online resources, tutorials and training videos.
- NEW “MusicBox” mode - press any side to play a melody!
- NEW and improved sampling modes
- NEW and improved virtual instruments

Can I get Skoog through my local Music Hub?
We believe that Skoog has a leading role to play in helping Music Hubs to deliver a fully inclusive instrumental music service across the UK. We are already in talks with a number of UK Music Hubs, and we are actively seeking new contacts with others.
To find out if Skoogmusic already partners with your local Music Hub, or if you would like to make an introduction, please come along to stand B129, email us or call (+44) 0131 554 2838.
